Practical information
Many women experience physical discomfort, discomfort, or aesthetic challenges after childbirth, weight change, or congenital conditions. Intimate surgery can contribute to increased comfort, improved self-confidence, and a balanced, natural appearance.
What is intimate surgery?
Some people have inner labia that are large and protrude beyond the outer labia, which can cause physical or psychological discomfort. Most people who seek treatment experience rubbing between the thighs and physical discomfort, or find it cosmetically unsightly and want to have them reduced. This can be corrected by surgery (labiaplasty), where excess tissue is removed and neatly stitched together.
How is it done?
The procedure is performed under sedation or light anesthesia, with plenty of local anesthetic to make it painless. The scars are usually not visible. The stitches dissolve on their own, and you can resume normal activities after a few days.
Labiaplasty (inner labia reduction)
Labiaplasty is a procedure to reduce the size of the inner labia. Long inner labia can cause discomfort and pain for women during sexual intercourse or exercise. Labia minora plastic surgery involves reducing, correcting asymmetry and size of the inner labia.
Fat transfer to the outer labia
Some people come to us because they are embarrassed about losing volume down there and experiencing atrophy and signs of aging in their external genitalia. This can be resolved by liposuctioning an area and transplanting the fat to the outer labia. This is a relatively minor and painless procedure with satisfied patients who often did not know that it was possible to correct. If you have asymmetry or lack of fullness, your own fat can be used to correct this. This fat is taken from, for example, the abdomen and transplanted into the labia through small incisions. 30% of the fat that is transplanted will disappear again. Therefore, a little more fat is often inserted to take this into account.
Liposuction of the mons pubis
Some people have disproportionate amounts of fat on their mons pubis and want liposuction in this area. Unfortunate distribution of fat deposits is either hereditary or hormonal. Between the lower abdomen and the labia, there may be excess fat that can be bothersome. Intense exercise or dieting does not always reduce fat in this area of the body. The procedure involves liposuction of this area.
